Item description

This car is the super sharp '66 Mustang 2+2 Fastback. The paint presents very well, glassy, smooth and beautiful with a metallic that is visible in direct sunlight. The car was taken down to metal before repainting. I have taken a magnet to the entire car and have found no bondo anywhere on it - zero. Panels are straight with no dings or dents. Hood and front valance are fiberglass with no cracks or spiderwebbing. The car was built to be driven, so on close inspection you'll see a few touched up chips, a light scratch here and there, etc. The overall appearance is "WOW" and that's what most people say when this car rolls up, I just happen to be a nitpicker with paint. For any questions email at willstanley59@hotmail.com.

All of the trim on the car is in good condition, bumpers are ding free and very nice. Glass is all good, the windshield is a Car-Lite replacement piece and is nice and clear, the back window shows a few light scratches. Tires show plenty of tread, they're 215 up front and 235 rear. Magnum 500 wheels are in super condition with no rash or pitting. All lights and signals operate as they should, taillights are LED with sequential turn indicators, pretty slick. The interior of this car is in great shape, most items have been redone. Seats are very nice with no rips, splits or tears. Headliner is new. Perfect dash pad. Carpet shows some fading, it's probably the weakest part of the interior. Stereo is a Kenwood unit with 10 disc changer, 6 speakers, 2 in custom kick panels, 4 in rear panel enclosure. The trapdoor is original and uncut. Gauges are Auto-Meter Phantoms, all showing great readings with temperature right about 180 and oil pressure around 75. Mechanical:
Beneath this car's good looks is where the true beauty lies. I've sold about a dozen Mustangs, a '68 GT500 and 2000 Cobra R being the highlights, and can say that this one will be joining the upper ranks. The details:

Engine:
347 Stroker, roller cam, Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads, RPM Air-Gap manifold, Holley 670cfm double pumper, K&N air filter, Perfomance DUI distributor, Taylor Pro wires, PA Performance 130amp alternator, March pulleys, ARP bolts, Total Control motor mounts, Cobra oil pan, ceramic coated Hedman Headers, Dr. Gas X-pipe, 2.5" aluminized exhaust, Hornet 732 alarm, Optima battery.

- The motor was done in 2000 at a cost of $8200, it now has about 2500 miles on it and runs perfectly. Recently dyno tuned by Fast Specialties, Vancouver WA, the car is ready for the road.

Drivetrain:
Performance Automatic Super-Streeter C4, B&M 2400 Torque converter, B&M Pro-Ratchet shifter, balanced driveline, Dutchman 31 spline axles, newly rebuilt 9" posi rear with 3.50 gears, quick ratio HCC-AX power steering.

- This car will launch faster than you can say bye-bye and has a sound above 4000rpm that I know you will like. The transmission is fantastic, with ultra crisp shifts. Due to the new rear gearing the speedo will need to be calibrated.

Chassis:
Edelbrock shocks in front, KYB rear, Under Rider traction bars, front and rear sway bars, 4 wheel power disc brakes, Hurst Roll-Control brake solenoid.
